Matt Good Concert...kinda blew!

Hey guys, very dissapointing news, Mat Good is gaysauce...horrible deformed sausage in gaysauce. Yea i went to Matt Good's concert on Wednesday @ Mac Hall. I had seen his act in Red Deer a few years back and i remember it being good and so, ignorant Alex said "yes i'll go, it will probably be good." WRONG, wrong...it was like mellow pseudo-beats screaming at you with bright lights attached. Yea...he's lost it. Oh matt, stop parading around with your tough guise and start making good music again! Maybe then, your concerts would actually sell out.
Well, thats enough ranting for one minute anyway.

NEW PUPPY!!

So I got a new puppy! We named her Coco, after Coco Chanel of course. She's a Havanese Shitshui and she was born August 9th 2005. I think we are on the verge of potty training her, it's been about a week with no accidents, yay! ...wow, thats so sad when a dog not peeing on the floor is calls for excitment...now we just have to work on her wining.

WICKED SWEET SHOW!!

So i went and saw Metric on Wednesday at Mac Hall...AWESOME!
Metric put on an amazing show! From the last time i saw them opening for Billy Talent (same time last year - introducing their first album "Old World Underground, Where Are You Now?" ), they have really found themselves - you can totally tell by the way they present themselves on the stage. And now with the release of their sophmore album, LIVE IT OUT, Emily Haines (vocals/synths), Jimmy Shaw (guitar), Josh Winstead (bass) and Joules Scott-Key (drums) are destined to make a name for new wave Canadian bands.

The opening bands were the Lovely Feathers (the picture on the left) and The Most Serene Republic. They were probably some of the best opening bands i've seen in a while - beside the Kings of Leon opening for U2 - of course.
